AKG D112 Bass Drum mic, this is a very popular mic for low frequency instruments such as bass drum. This mic can tolerate volumes that would destroy the capsule of other mics. Thats exactly what you need when micing a bass drum.

AKG C3000B. I have one of these as well as its little brother the C2000B. I prefer the C2000B. The C3000B is very good as a drum overhead and also records acoustic guitar nicely. Its not my first choice for vocals. |

Rode K2. This is a wonderful larger diaphragm tube condenser mic. Its great on vocals and excels on double bass. I really love to use this mic in conjuction with the Universal M-610 tube preamp. |

MOTU 896 digital firewire interface. This is an early generation version which is rock solid. This unit has 8 preamps/channels. The audio digital converter is one of the most important pieces of equipment in digital studio. This unit never fails me. |

Mackie Control Universal. This is the best controller on the market. The unit has 9 motorized faders. I also have a Control Universal Extender which controls an additional 8 channels. The mackie connects to the computer via a MIDI interface. My interface is a 5 channel MOTU unit. |

Yamaha NS10m Nearfield monitors. These are the most popular studio monitors ever built. There are small and have the easy to recognize white cardboard woofer cones. If you can get a good sounding mix with these monitors you can almost bet it will sound great outside of the studio. This set of monitors were used and have matching serial numbers. |

KRK K-ROC Nearfield monitors. It never hurts to have a second set of monitors to compare a mix and these do a fine job. This particular model is passive and no longer in production. This is a great little monitor for the money. |
